Service/Transfer Application for Electric & Water Service

If you are renting please submit copy of the lease agreement to Town Hall.

If you are buying/owner, please submit a copy of the closing document to Town Hall.

A hard copy of the form is attached below as a PDF. Please return it to Town Hall if you fill out a hard copy instead.

PLEASE NOTE:

Renters need to submit a lease agreement and photo ID; buyers/owners need to submit closing documents and a photo ID.

The application, lease and/or closing documentation, photo ID, and deposit MUST be submitted before services are established; no partial applications are accepted.

Applicants can email documents to edenton.utilities@edenton.nc.gov or fax them to (252) 482-7377. They can be accepted in-person as well.

Please note that the Town of Edenton does not do same-day service, please allow up to 3 business days for this request.
