Town of Edenton Customer Service Policy
Town of Edenton Utility Deposit Policy

Every month, our meter reading staff reads your electric meter (and if in Town, your water meter) and the monthly usage is calculated. Utility Bills are scheduled to arrive at your mailbox on the 10th of each month, and bills are due on the last day of the month. Utility bills are typically higher in the summer months for air conditioning and in the winter months for heating.

The Town of Edenton offers free energy audits to customers via ElectriCities. Energy audits allow for professionals to inspect your home and recommend ways to save on your energy bill. To schedule an audit, contact Derickia Perry at Town Hall.

Online energy audits can be found here. They are free and can help you find ways to save money and energy at your home.

For information about programs available to help make your home more energy efficient, as well as utility aid for those going through hardship, please contact Town Hall at (252) 482-2155 or visit our lobby for energy assistance flyers - 400 South Broad Street.
