RFP for Cemetery Landscaping Services
SCOPE OF WORK: Maintain mowing services to a neat and professional appearance for Beaver Hill Cemetery and Vine Oak Cemetery
- Maintain grounds and keep neat in appearance weekly
- Weed eat around memorial stones, headstones, and trees weekly
- Blow off debris from memorial stones and drives
- Leaf, limb, and trash pickup weekly
- Removal of faded or damaged flower arrangements weekly
- Leaf cleanup in fall
- Ant mound treatment as need
- One-million dollar liability insurance policy
Contractual dates: September 2024 to September 2025
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: A quote for performing work in both cemeteries, quotes for performing work in each cemetery only, any past experience and proposed work plans, company and/or individual contact information, and any other pertinent details must be provided.
The above information must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 16, 2024 at the Attn: David Myers, Public Works Director - P.O. Box 300, Edenton, NC 27932, hand delivered to 400 S. Upon completion of the review, the Town of Edenton will award and contract the work as authorized by the Town of Edenton’s Town Council. For purposes of proposal evaluation, contractors are requested to provide an estimated not-to-exceed ceiling amount.
