The Finance Office is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the Town of Edenton. It provides financial customer service to utility customers, vendors, and employees. Financial support also encompasses investing town funds; maintaining accounting and financial records; billing and collecting all town monies which includes electric, water, and sewer utility accounts; and assisting the Town Manager in preparing the Annual Budget Ordinance.
