MLK Park, located along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, serves the northwest communities in Edenton, including a number of apartment complexes. Recently, the park has become a target of the town's neighborhood park redevelopment project, with forestry mulching occurring along the tree line around the park over Summer 2023 as a first step towards expanding the park footprint.
