The Edenton Police Department serves the Town on a 24/7 basis with 19 Full time officers working both uniform patrol and investigative functions. The department follows a community oriented policing philosophy and strives to meet national accreditation standards through detailed policy and high professional standards. We seeks to create an atmosphere of transparency between officers and the public by providing opportunities for citizen involvement that include:
